We recommend that you accumulate your diving experience to the Advanced Diver level or above, and you will be able to enjoy your diving to the fullest! SSI Open Water Diver Course The Open Water Diver Course, a globally accepted certification course, is the best way to begin your lifelong adventure as a certified diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice modules to ensure you have the skills and experience you need to feel comfortable underwater. You'll earn your SSI Open Water Diver dive license. Dive for sightseeing. During training, the maximum dive depth is 18 meters. After certification, it is recommended that you do not exceed the recreational dive limit of 40 meters, and that you practice regularly to gain experience or take advanced courses to increase your skill level.

The Experience
- Before attending the course, students can complete the home study through the SSI e-learning digital teaching materials. For the diving course, students should bring their own swimming trunks or swimsuits, and prepare their own digital photos (life photos can also be uploaded with a frontal photo).
- All students are required to complete the SSI digital teaching materials before the course and watch the Risk Awareness Video before the course.
Students can sign the relevant documents and complete the online final test before the course.

How to Use

- If you are at least 10 years old and in good health, please refer to SSI's Health Declaration Form(https://www.atolldive.com/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/2016-SSI-Health-statement. pdf) and Consent to Release and Assume Risks. Please refer to SSI's Health Declaration Form(https://www.atolldive.com/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/Responsibility-Exemption.pdf. pdf) and Release of Liability and Consent to Assume Risk. If you have any medical conditions, you must obtain a medical certificate from your doctor before taking the Diving Course.
- Participants younger than 15 years of age will be certified as Junior Open Water Divers and will be able to dive under the direct supervision of a dive professional, or a certified adult, in an environment equivalent to their training and recommended depth limits.
- Before the official course, you can complete the home study through SSI eLearning digital materials, dive course should bring their own swimming trunks or swimsuit, prepare personal digital photo (life photo can also be a front photo, to provide uploading).
- All students are required to complete the SSI digital teaching materials before the course and watch the Risk Awareness Video before the course.

Important Booking Information
- Due to traffic, weather and other force majeure factors caused by the time delay, resulting in the cancellation of part of the tour, please take the initiative to contact customer service, we will be part of the refund for you. (Please refer to the official website of Atoll Refund Program)
- If the sea and weather conditions are not suitable for diving, we will notify you in advance of the activity to postpone or cancel the trip.
- Please do not drink alcoholic beverages, hangover, late night, insomnia, cold will affect the physical and mental condition of the dive, please keep enough sleep, with a happy mood to participate in the activities.
- Please arrange your dive time, within 12 hours after a single dive, repeat dive within 18 hours, prohibited by air.
- It is recommended that you should not participate if you have diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease, severe asthma, pregnant women.
- If you do not pass the course, you will be charged a supplemental fee of NT$1000/day/set of equipment and NT$800/cylinder/seat for cylinder and training.

Notes
7 days advance notice is required for any change in the scheduled date of class, and NTD$3,000 will be charged for any change within 7 days or unexplained absence from class, except for force majeure (natural disaster/accident). If the student is absent from the course due to ill health, he/she will be exempted from paying the extra fee if he/she presents the hospital registration receipt.
For students who drop out of the course, or who are not feeling well and are medically certified to be unfit to continue diving activities, the course fees will be refunded in the following manner:
NTD$5,000 deposit is used to purchase online teaching materials, no refund; after taking the course, NTD$6,000 refund; after taking the course of flat water/pool practice, NTD$4,000 refund; after taking the course of open water practice, NTD$2,000 refund.
If a typhoon warning is issued for sea or land, or if traffic is disrupted due to an earthquake or flood, you may choose to reschedule the course, but you will not be able to proceed with the deposit of NTD$5,000 for the course you have already registered.
The registration will be retained for six months after enrollment. If there is a problem with a student, the student will be required to take a make-up course. Please complete the course within six months. If you have not completed the course after the six-month period, please re-enroll and pay the fee.
